Events

Outreach is primarily a matter of enthusiasm, live communication and individual initiatives. But documenting activities and spreading the expertise is also a key!

Feedback & material was informally collected through outreach weeklies for years. Now embarking into a more structured effort, aiming at a “Hitchhiker’s Guide to hosting ATLAS outreach events” with practical tips & links

the 2017 highlight will for sure be

The ATLAS letter of intent is considered as ATLAS “birthday certificate”, and was published as LHCC note in October 1992 ... i.e. 25 years ago! ATLAS was 25 years ago a core effort, which expanded beautifully - over the years - on all continents, and is constantly upgrading to keep up with LHC challenges

A small “brainstorming & working group” has been setup, to support your ideas over the full year: rendez-vous @ the outreach parallel session, where early thoughts will be discussed. Also check our web page : ATLAS 25
