How to accommodate more visitors? Virtually!

120.000 in 2016, 3 time more requests! A CERN wide working group has been setup and the current two lines of action are:

• Collect, complete and promote in a coherent way 360o images, videos and recorded tours
• Expand “Online guided tours” offer (our "Virtual Visits") by connecting more than 1 site and being able to "move around" (i.e. underground, but also using the ATLAS mural & globe view)
  
  

A new Virtual Visit web site will allow to select visits using tags, to highlight series and projects like Latin America’s master classes, visits co-organized with LIGO, organized within an exhibit or events.
